“I will start by saying two things: firstly, Nolan and Jennifer are awesome human beings. And secondly, they know their stuff. I’ll be completely honest, I was a little bit apprehensive about having engagement pictures taken, solely because I’ve always found it a bit awkward to pose or to look a certain way “on cue.” I have followed Nolan Campbell Photography for a long time and I’m familiar with the gorgeous photos that Nolan and Jennifer produce, but because of my tendency to be a complete weirdo when cameras are around, I still wasn’t really sure how it would go. Looking back, I don’t know why I was nervous. The shoot went splendidly, and even though I was sure I’d feel funny about having a big camera all up in my space, Nolan made it a genuinely fun experience! My fiancé and I felt so comfortable working with him. We only had vague ideas of what we wanted, and he ran with them, thinking up really adorable (but natural-looking) poses as we went along. We had a blast, and we can’t wait to take more pictures on our wedding day! We received out edits quickly – in less than a week. This was a huge bonus us, especially because we were anxious to get our Save the Dates in the mail. During the editing process, Jennifer was communicative and shared several “sneak peeks” with us, as they became available. I’m definitely an instant gratification kind of girl, so their promptness was extremely appreciated! I could go on and on about their professionalism, the high quality images (full printing rights, by the way!), and their great energy in photoshoots… but I will try to refrain from writing a novel.
